Deer Lake Resort is a private 1150 acre retreat located in the heart of the north woods.  Open year round, this no smoking 8000 square foot, 8 bedroom, 5 full bath resort will accommodate groups of 2 to 30.  The entire resort is yours.  No one else but you on our private 40 acre lake!  Whether you are looking for a private family getaway, reunion, or business retreat, we hope you will find that Deer Lake is one of the most unique spots in the Midwest!

        RATES

Our base rate listed below includes full and exclusive use of our 500 acres, our 650 acres of hunting land, the entire lodge building, and Deer Lake with all its boats for the first 16 people!

For groups of 17 or more add $22 to the base rate per person per night. Weeks during summer are Saturday 2pm to Saturday 10am.  Pets allowed.  We are a non smoking facility- please inform your guests.

Included at no charge: Washer and 2 dryers, three fishing boats with electric trolling motors and batteries, 2 paddle boats, canoe, hot tub, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, Wii game, Play Station Two, VCR with movies, satellite TV with surround sound, satellite internet for email (see details),  and lots of board games!

Rates apply to those over 2 years of age.  A non refundable $500 deposit is due upon reservation.  50% balance due 6 months prior to your trip.  The balance is due 90 days prior to your stay. There is a 50% cancellation fee if you cancel with less than 120 days notice and no refund with less than 30 days notice.  Snowmobile trips are only refunded if trails are officially closed less a $500 fee.  Rates are subject to change without notice-update 1/22/11

We have recently purchased an additional 685 acres of land to the west and south of Deer Lake.  This brings our total acreage to about 1150 surrounding the resort.  Our long term goal is to retain as much of this land as possible, especially the lands in close proximity to the lake.  We are willing to sell parcels as large as 120 acres and as small as 5.38 acres depending upon the area.  The land is currently in Managed Forest Law (MFL) and will be transferred in MFL.  Pricing ranges from $2,700/acre for backlands to $3,300/acre for larger tracts with frontage on West Birch Lake Road with year round blacktop road access and utilities.  Smaller parcels will be deed restricted  against further subdivision so as to retain the wilderness setting we have all come to enjoy.  Backlands will have deeded access with utility easements.
