Deer Lake Resort
 

Deer Lake Resort is a private 1150 acre retreat located in the heart of the north woods.  Open year round, this no smoking 8000 square foot, 8 bedroom, 5 full bath resort will accommodate groups of 2 to 30.  The entire resort is yours.  No one else but you on our private 40 acre lake!  Whether you are looking for a private family getaway, reunion, or business retreat, we hope you will find that Deer Lake is one of the most unique spots in the Midwest!

        RATES

Our base rate listed below includes full and exclusive use of our 500 acres, our 650 acres of hunting land, the entire lodge building, and Deer Lake with all its boats for the first 16 people!

Weekend     (3 nights off season)       $2,790

Week           (7 nights all year)           $5,350

Nightly        (after weekend)              $  885

For groups of 17 or more add $22 to the base rate per person per night. Weeks during summer are Saturday 2pm to Saturday 10am.  Pets allowed.  We are a non smoking facility- please inform your guests.

Included at no charge: Washer and 2 dryers, three fishing boats with electric trolling motors and batteries, 2 paddle boats, canoe, hot tub, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, Wii game, Play Station Two, VCR with movies, satellite TV with surround sound, satellite internet for email (see details),  and lots of board games!

Rates apply to those over 2 years of age.  A non refundable $500 deposit is due upon reservation.  50% balance due 6 months prior to your trip.  The balance is due 90 days prior to your stay. There is a 50% cancellation fee if you cancel with less than 120 days notice and no refund with less than 30 days notice.  Snowmobile trips are only refunded if trails are officially closed less a $500 fee.  Rates are subject to change without notice-update 1/22/11

When you stay at Deer Lake, you are in a true North woods home.  Over the years, Rob and Terry have tried to create more character in the Resort by building furniture using wood cut from trees on the property.  The result has been some interesting pieces which many people have asked about.  You know they say "everything has it's price" so we are going to start offering some of the pieces that we have for sale.  If you would like us to custom build something similar to what you see, call Rob for details.

This beautiful coffee table measures about 41" long and 36" wide at its maximum width.  The top is 2" solid hand finished Black Ash from a 150 year old Michigan tree that we removed while building road to the beach.  No made in China here!  The base is a Lake Superior Cedar stump that was finished by mother nature with years of banging around on the beach.  This piece is one of a kind but we can make larger or smaller tables like it.  $680
