When you stay at Deer Lake, you are in a true Northwoods home. Over the years, Rob and Terry have tried to create more character in the Resort by building furniture using wood cut from trees on the property. The result has been some interesting pieces which many people have asked about. You know they say "everything has it's price" so we are going to start offering some of the pieces that we have for sale. This beautiful coffee table measures about 41" long and 36" wide at its maximum width. The top is 2" solid hand finished Black Ash from a 150 year old Michigan tree that we removed while building road to the beach. No made in China here! The base is a Lake Superior Cedar stump that was finished by mother nature with years of banging around on the beach. This piece is one of a kind but we can make larger or smaller tables like it. $680 ==========================================================================================================+ Other examples and more to come are below.
